We have opened for registrationis for the april distribution of food assistance from Iceland Family Aid on the website. Due to limited funds, registrations will at first only be open to residents of Reykjavik, postal codes 101-116. The distribution will start on Thursday, April 23rd, and will take place in a few groups over the next days. Clients will get an e-mail telling them when they can come to Iðufell 14 and collect their food. We would like to highlight the 76th article of the Icelandic constitution , which says: “The law shall guarantee for everyone the necessary assistance in case of sickness, invalidity, infirmity by reason of old age, unemployment and similar circumstances”.
